　　In the lecture, the professor talks about 2 adaptations that the monkeys have to avoid falling off the trees when they are acting among them. The 1st one is that they can grasp and hold to the branches. For example, when moneys jump between 2 trees, they would use their tails to hang on the branches in case that they would fall. The tails are so flexible and strong that somehow they have ensured the safety for the monkeys. The 2nd adaptation is to measure the distance among branches. Sometimes branches that monkeys want to pass are far away from each other and monkeys would use some special functions in their eyes to check those distance. Thus they can decide the most appropriate path to take. Those are the 2 adaptations that the monkeys have to live and act in trees.
