　　In the lecture, the professor mainly talks about two advantages of a new technique in archaeology. The first one is that it is more time-saving, which is helpful for archaeologists to discover objects in time. For example, a team of archaeologists used to spend 20 years in exploring a small part of a ruined site; however, that new technique took them a week to find the rest of the site. The 2nd advantage is that it can help capture more details. Here the professor still uses that group of archaeologists as an example to explain that. When they returned to a ruined site that they had worked on before, the new technique successfully gathered more information. Therefore, those archaeologists explored many more historic ruined sites which were missed before.
