　　In the lecture, the professor mainly talks about 2 kinds of strategies that animals fight for food. The first one is chemical way. For example, a kind of ants will release some chemical to the food that is too heavy for them to carry. This chemical smells poisonous to other ants so they will not touch the food. In this way, that special kind of ants can return later to take the food. The 2nd one is physical method. Here the professor uses another kind of ants as the example to explain that. When they find other ants that compete for the food in the surroundings, they will collect rocks to block the entrance to their competitor’ nests, thus prevent them from getting out. Those are how the professor shows the 2 strategies that animals fight for food.
