　　An enjoyable event that took place in my childhoodwas when I first got my first dog--- Gus. I was tenand had been pestering(纠缠) my parents for a dogfor years. One day I came home from school, myparents said they had a surprise for me and it waswaiting for me in my room. I ran up to my room andthrew open the door. I found a tiny puppy with a redbow around his neck at the foot of my bed. He wasfast asleep. And for the rest of his life, he slept on the exact same spot at the end of my bedevery night. That was a great happy event in my childhood.
