  参考范文:

In the lecture, the professor mainly talks about two disadvantages of discontinuous innovation. The first one is that the new products will be more expensive because the expense on researches is higher. For example, electronic automobiles are a possible replacement of gas vehicles in the future, but right now their price is too high since the researches on their batteries cost a lot. The other disadvantage is that it is not easy to convince people to buy those products as they may create some inconvenience. Here the professor still uses electronic automobiles as an example to explain that. After customers buy those cars, they have to reschedule the route they are used to because there need to be places where they can charge their cars. That will be especially troublesome if they are on a business trip or during a journey.
