　　Every time when I am shopping, I am so attracted by those fancy and trendy clothes. However, when I try them on, I find the person in front of the mirror is not me. Obviously, my personality determines what kind of dress style I had better shop, no matter how pretty those dresses are. Only can the clothes most matching with personality act as our name cards.

　　Firstly, why most of companies and organizations have certain dress codes is that the clothes employees should have worn will leave a direct impression on clients. In business cycle, ladies in smart casual and gentlemen in suits are the norm. If not dressing formally, how they can earn the trust of clients. This cannot be more obvious that formal dress shows respect. As for teachers, tight dress, mini skirt, deep V dress and short pants are not allowed, as it destroys the professional image of a teacher. Their casualty on clothes might misguide their students to lead a disrespectful life as well. I am a teacher and I enjoy teaching greatly. Therefore, I mainly wear basic style and maintain a classic teacher image, sweater and a shirt, long pants with black work shoes. Even a stranger could easily recognize my career is a teacher, so what an obvious signal my clothes indicates. Hence, it is not difficult to distinguish customers fond of American GAP or Japanese UNIQLO and those keen into European H&M or ZARA. They are definitely two different groups of consumers with two types of personalities.

　　Apart from the style factor, the price of our dress can also mean something. I bet there must be some people around you crazy for luxurious clothes so as to show their social status or their unique personality. Even though these clothes cost them a large proportion of their monthly salary, they would still use credit cards to consume first. This practice can explain their internal vanity. But in contrast, someone from wealthy families dresses plainly and tries to keep in such a low profile as possible. Therefore, how a person manages their budget on clothes can see their personality of wealth value. Like Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who dresses a grey T-shirt for 365 days, cares more about the innovation of information technology than his personal appearance. His intention is to save time from choosing clothes in order to make more wealth for the society but himself.

　　Color is another indication. Different colors can show the difference of personality. I mainly wear light color, as I think it shows my lightness in spirit and let others feel I am very approachable. However, for those who favor black, I would be a bit scare of them, so cool they are. All black even sends a negative message that the person is withdrawal and introverted. And it cannot deny that quite a part of people dressing in all black are those who keep a distance with people around or those who don’t want to follow the majority. Moreover, some people like to wear colorful dresses. Like my mother, when opening her wardrobe, you would see all colors scattering like flower gardens. She strongly rejects the dresses in one color or dark color, as she said dressing like that would mistakenly tell others she is dull, intense and unhappy. Therefore, the color of the clothes is also a reliable clue to judge a person’s personality.

　　It is easy to draw the conclusion that dressing way is closely associated with our personality. Commonly we can see fashion magazines have tactically summarized celebrities’ dressing style and offered insightful analysis on their character and preference. Briefly, what kind of clothes we dress and what color we are keen into demonstrate both explicitly and implicitly our personality.
